Hello!
Hi! I’m Jess, an illustrator and designer from Birmingham. I have a passion for creating work that sparks joy, playing with colour and shape to look at the world in a positive way. For this reason, I especially love working on projects that include children as an audience, and really anyone who has a nostalgia for the playful and appreciate the charm of traditional illustration.
I’ve designed and painted a number of sculptures for various sculpture trails across the UK and US. I really love to create work that brightens up the street, and seeing trail-goers full of excitement to discover mine and my colleague’s work. I’ve worked with some really amazing clients doing this work, including but not limited to Aardman Animation, Laika Studios and Andersen Press. A really wonderful element of creating work for sculpture trails is that they are often auctioned off for charity. So far I have raised over £200,000 for various charities through the sale of my work.
I’ve always had a passion for children’s animation, being inspired by the magic of motion breathed into worlds I love, and have worked on many personal projects designing characters, props and backgrounds.
